Congressman Kline unveils new web site
Email Print
Congressman John Kline believes that communicating with and hearing from constituents is the best way to accurately represent the views and values of his constituents. To better serve the residents of Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District, Congressman Kline has launched a new, improved website – at http://kline.house.gov – that makes it even easier for Minnesotans to contact him and learn about the services and resources he can help provide as your Congressman.

To make it easier to share your views and concerns, a “Contact John” link is available on the home page that enables visitors to e-mail Congressman Kline directly. You are also invited to fill out an online survey to share your views on a variety of issues that affect you and your family. On the new website, you also can sign up for the next telephone town hall, which allows you – from the comfort of your own home – to join Congressman Kline and thousands of your neighbors for a dialogue on a host of timely topics. Another convenient way to keep up-to-date on important issues that affect you is by signing up for the “Kline’s Corner” e-mail newsletter.

Other new features include a link to Congressman Kline’s YouTube channel, which includes video messages, floor speeches, and television appearances – and “John’s Blog,” where Congressman Kline posts regular updates about his efforts on your behalf in Washington and Minnesota and other news that affects you and your family.

You also can access a wide variety of constituent services through the website, including help with federal agencies regarding Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, veterans benefits, and passport assistance; information about federal education aid, grants, and loans; small business assistance; information and tours for visitors to Washington; and information about how to order flags flown over the Capitol.

On the “Student Corner” link, parents and students can find information about Service Academy nominations, education assistance, the annual “Artistic Discovery” Congressional art contest, and internships. The “Student Corner” also provides children with a fun way to learn about how Congress works.

Whether you are planning a visit to Washington – or need help locating a lost Social Security check – Congressman Kline’s website, at http://kline.house.gov , is your one-stop shop for 24-hour information. Please stop by, and come again as often as you would like.
