The Le Sueur Police Department stays on the road even if other people don’t.
Officers responded to a number of reports of vehicles going in the ditch.
There were also several other calls during the week of Feb.15-21.
Feb. 15
• At 5:34 a.m. an officer assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a vehicle in the ditch in the area of U.S. Highway 169 and State Highway 93.
• A short time later, at 6:49 a.m., the department assisted the state patrol with a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 169 at Henderson Station Road.
• Police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle on Culps Hill.
Feb. 17
• Police investigated a report of a burglary to a storage room at Valleygreen Square mall. Nothing appeared to have been taken during the incident.
• At 7:30 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Todd Court.
Feb. 18
• Police took a report of a harassment complaint on Conifer Terrace.
• An officer picked up a stray dog on Fourth St. at 11:28 a.m.
Feb. 19
• Police were dispatched to Third St. at 6:55 a.m. for a report of a verbal domestic.
• At 3:16 p.m. an officer took a report of a threat complaint on Woodcrest Terrace.
Feb. 20
• A male party was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on Highway 169 for underage drinking and driving. It was also discovered the subject was wanted on an out-of-state warrant.
• At 2 p.m. police assisted the state patrol with a vehicle in the median of Highway 169.
• A male party was arrested at 11:44 p.m. on Highway 169 for DWI.
Feb. 21
• An officer was dispatched to a loud music complaint on Main St. at 12:20 a.m.
• At 5:40 a.m. and officer was dispatched to a barking dog complaint on Foxborough Lane.
• Police took a report of damage to a vehicle on Davis St.
• Police were dispatched to a driving complaint in the area of the State Highway 112 exit of Highway 169 at 6:10 p.m.
• The department received a call at 7:08 p.m. of a found child on Todd Court. The child was returned to a parent.
• A speeding citation was issued on Highway 169 and Highway 93 at 9 p.m.
• An officer took a report of harassing phone calls on Windsor Court at 9:21 p.m.
